The Liquor Act 2007 is the law that governs the sale and supply of alcohol in NSW. Even if you’ve completed RSA in another state, you’ll need to know how the Act is applied in NSW.

In this topic, you’ll learn about the Liquor Act and associated regulations. These laws specify the conditions and requirements for licensed premises to operate in NSW.

These regulations apply to management, staff and patrons—and there are penalties for those who don’t comply with the law.

Remember it’s not only the licensee who can be fined. You can also be fined if you sell or supply alcohol to a minor or a patron approaching intoxication.

Let's take a look at the law so that you can be confident about putting RSA into practice!
